Domain names

If you already have a domain name, that’s great, but if you need help choosing and registering one, we can help you. We can check whether any names you have in mind are available. If your chosen name is already taken, we can help you find an alternative domain.

If you’re having difficulties choosing a suitable domain for your new (or existing) business, we’ll be happy to help you and make suggestions. Whenever possible, it is a good idea to include a keyword in your Domain name – it is likely to help your website rankings. However, this is not mandatory and not always possible.

Website hosting

We host all of our websites on reputable commercial servers which are very reliable and monitored 24/7/365, as well as regularly upgraded and, as required for professional/business websites, free of advertising banners.

Our hosting solution also includes website usage statistics packages which  monitor the activity on your website at all times. This is a  very useful tool to check your website is doing the best it can for your business.

Emails

Our website hosting packages come with 3 mailboxes, ie 3 free email addresses. If you need more mailboxes, this can be arranged for a one-off cost of £3 per extra email address.

Mailboxes come with a standard auto-responder facility and a forwarding service if required.

We can also provide hosting for email accounts even if you don’t have a website yet, or no longer have a website but wish to keep the email attached to your domain.

Website updates

We generally update and maintain the websites we design, saving you time and leaving free to run your business – while we run ours!

However, if you choose to have a WordPress website and you wish to maintain it yourself, that is fine too.

If you’d like to take care of your website but need a bit of help to get up to speed with it, we can provide  training to help you start – for fairness, this service is charged by the hour.
